Description

A series of videos about epilepsy, here compiled onto on tape. The first two are introduced by Dr Tim Betts, a neuropsychiatrist, who explains our understanding of epilepsy. The third short video is introduced by Dr Tony Peck, Senior Advisor in Clinical Neuropharmacy, talks about Lamictal. He outlines how the drug Lamotrigine was discovered. Professor Brian Meldrum, Experimental Neurology, Institute of Psychiatry, talks further about the drug. Dr Colin Binnie also comments. The final programme interviews patients whose lives have been changed by taking the drug.
