Description

Letters between René Maublanc, Sub-Editor of La Pensée, and J B S Haldane in which Maublanc enquires if it would be possible to publish two of Haldane's articles, namely "The Mechanism of Evolution" and "Why I am a Materialist". Haldane consents to the publication of the two articles. A handwritten draft of Haldane's reply is written on the reverse of Maublanc's letter.
