Description
Photograph of a Coptic school oil on wood panel depicting cures taking place at a sacred well. It was purchased in Athens by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930 and acessioned in 1931 (accession number CC 5288). The photograph was compiled by Captain Johnston-Saint, a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee, for his Royal Society of Medicince lecture in 1938
