Description
Framed chart titled "Chart of Discovery made by the Victory, 1829-1832" showing a map of the coastline of "Boothia Felix" (now the Boothia Peninsula) in the Canadian Arctic. The Boothia Peninsula was explored during Sir John Ross' second Arctic expedition in the Victory. The item was part of a polar exhibition held in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum's central hall in July 1930. It was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is not held by Wellcome Collection.
