Description
The central candelabra is described in extenso in the lettering: three hippogryphs at the base support a ledge on which are three tortoises which in turn support three rams' heads representing sacrificial animals and at the same time guardians of Pan, together with flowers, fruit, stalks, leaves, birds etc.
