Photograph of a 13th century manuscript illustration of a mandragora in the form of a human being with a dog tied to its legs to pull it up, from a manuscript held by the British Library. The photograph was made by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1937 (accession number PHO 10597)
