Photograph of an oil painting on canvas by Aert Pietersz, of a group portrait depicting an anatomy demonstration by Dr. Sebastiaen Egbertsz, 1603. This reproduction was made during the VI International Congress for the History of Medicine held in Leiden 1927 at the Exposition d'art Medico-Historique and is described as Tableaux [Painting] 1, La lecon d'anatomie du docteur Sebastiaan Egbertsz, in the exhibition catalogue. The original painting is held by the Museum de Waag, Amsterdam. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 19th September 1929 (PHO 19).
