Biographical note

William Cuming, M.D., F.S.A., was born in 1714, received his medical education in Edinburgh, and afterwards settled in Dorchester. He died in 1788.

Ownership note

On flyleaf: "Presented to Dr. J. Coakley Lettsom by his respectful Friend J. W. Cuming."
