Includes correspondence; draft ts of Silver Jubilee Celebration speeches, 1954; copies of reports for AGMs 1958 and 1959 on research sponsored by the Council and its general activities; booklet containing constitution; programme for 'Official opening of the extension to the megavoltage radiotherapy treatment unit' Newcastle General Hospital, by the Duke of Northumberland, President of the Council, 25 Oct 1962, with text of his address. (The Unit, originally opened in 1938 and was built, extended and equipped chiefly from money donated by the Council)
