Correspondence on Medical Research Council trials

Correspondence (mainly with RJW Rees) on the cultivation of M. leprae in the nine-banded armadillo; the examination of tissues from experimental animals (armadillos, mice, hedgehogs) from the NIMR and biopsies from patients in various trials, notably those established by the Medical Research Council (MRC) unit in Sungei Buloh (Singapore) under the direction of two UK leprologists, Dr MFR Waters and Dr JMH Pearson.
