The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Champion wrestler Georg Hackenschmidt (1877-1968) in a typical pose. He was arguably the most famous professional wrestler of all time, and perhaps the most photographed. The first free-style heavyweight World Champion, he was an enormous and powerful man."
