Description

Correspondence and press cuttings re proposal by the Damon Runyon Memorial Fund, New York, to set up a Cancer Research Trust in England in order to administer American blocked balances of sterling belonging to Marlene Dietrich and Sugar Ray Robinson; and two press cuttings re donations to the DRMF by Gloria Swanson and Gertrude Lawrence.

It was proposed that the blocked funds would be administered by two representatives from New York and two in England, possibly members of the Campaign, for projects nominated by the DRMF
