About this work
Description
Articles and press cuttings about the medical and environmental implications of nuclear winter, including articles reporting on the BAAS Nuclear Winter Conference, 1986.
The nuclear winter theory was examined at a British Association for the Advancement of Science conference in London on 2 December 1986. The theory was that exploded debris caused by a nuclear bomb would cause a dramatic drop in the Earth's surface temperatures, with great biological and agricultural consequences.
